Adventure is a key component of many of our programs. Our activities are exciting, challenging, and lots of fun, and they are also educational. They teach you about yourself, and teach you how to work with others. The lessons you learn during your adventure experiences will serve you for life.

Archery
Learn safety, sound shooting techniques, and get plenty of practice on our archery range. We use Matthews Genesis bows in our instruction, the official bow of the National Archery in the Schools Program, and we also have several traditional recurve bows.

Shooting Sports
Learn to safely shoot BB/pellet guns, .22 caliber rifles, or shotguns with us.

Fishing
Our 3/4 acre stocked pond and fishing pier provide the setting for hours of catch-and-release enjoyment.

Canoeing and Kayaking
Learn to safely paddle on our pond and feel the excitement of being on the water. These activities are the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Hiking
Our mulched trails wind through the woods, and interpretive signs describe the tree and plant life found along the way.

Camping Skills
Learn essential skills such as how to set up a good campsite, pitch a tent, start a fire, cook in the outdoors, and use a map & compass. We teach Leave No Trace techniques to help minimize impact and promote responsible camping.

Geocaching
This is a high-tech scavenger hunt using a Global Positioning System (GPS) unit. Learn the basics of the sport, including how to mark and find a waypoint, and how to find a hidden cache.
