Light up the Night with Pumpkins on Pikes

Bring your family, friends, co-workers and picnic blankets out for a festive fall evening and an incredible photo opportunity. The Seguin Outdoor Learning Center will have pikes with platforms at various heights in our big beautiful field to hold your hand carved pumpkins! There will be a sunset pumpkin lighting ceremony so that all pumpkins are lit together to make for impressive photo opportunities and a gorgeous fall scene. There will be fall fun and games for the whole family including; face painting, campfire stories, S'mores, Cider, refreshments- and a judged Pumpkin Carving Contest with prizes!

- 1st Place- Archery Program for 20
- 2nd Place- Fishing Program for 20
- 3rd Place- Family Membership to SOLC
Carving Contest for Businesses- imagine your illuminated logo in promotional photos!
- 1st Place- Team-building Session for 20 staff
- 2nd Place - Company Fishing Afternoon
- 3rd Place- Guided Interpretive Hike
Each pumpkin and pike is $20 and includes use of basic carving kits, but you are welcome to bring your favorite pumpkin carving tools. Please bring your picnic dinners, and coolers to enjoy this unforgettable event. Afternoon fun and carving begins at 4 pm and the SOLC will remain open until 9 pm. Take your carved pumpkins home with you. Help support programs here at SOLC by purchasing at least one pumpkin per vehicle. All proceeds from this fall fun-raiser will help support our outdoor education programs at the Seguin Outdoor Learning Center.
Evening Agenda
